Team Wertman...

Spent a lot of time with Joey-Dub yesterday probably too much. In between his HP conference call with some real dorks I was able to get inside the mind of the boy wonder...not much going on if ya know what I mean...

Catchers: Weiters and Hernandez, man i can't wait to not hear about "the second coming of christ" anymore, Sully playing the waiting game with Weiners, Hernandez a decent fill in. Weiners could be a stud, he could also be Billy Ronzio (Zeee-o). Time will tell

First Base: Dunn, great pick and use of the Yahoo positions, other than Ichiro and Crupi, Mr Consistent, you know what you get every year

Second Base: Weeks and Aviles, hmmm, the only real blemish. I like Aviles but .325 from a Concordia College grad? Come on now. Weeks has been a sleeper since 1993, someone will pan out, I see Sully picking someone up.

Third Base: A Roid, Reynolds the human fly swatter keeping it warm for A Rod, you know he will be back earlier than later and have a great year

Short: M Young, good in this league, you know what you will get and that's still fine. Won't be the star but won't hurt you. Aviles qualifies too...as a total dweeeeeeeb

Outfield: Best OF in the league, Sully set out to impregnate Danielle and grab a solid OF, mission accomplished you old dog. Markakis' and Granderson's TB's are stupid, well over 300 this year, great picks. Kemp will give you 25 steals and almost elite production. I would take the outfield into Kandahar and mess fools up then pull muslim tail

Starters: Sabathia, Kaz, Grienke, Lilly, Price. Sabathia will have a good year, pitching in the East will be a bit different but CY Young contender. Kaz when healthy is upper tier and he hasn't really been hurt, per say, just innings lost, solid. Grienke, will be good, assuming he doesn't combust like he did a few years ago and has to go on a mental DL. I like Lilly as an underrated 180K guy. We will see about Price, all the potential but hitters will figure him out, K and WHIP guy I would think. If Sanchez continues to burn himself on his Foreman grill Sully is f'd, he should figure it out mid-April.

Relief: I love Motte, he throws smoke and has great control, Capps will give you what you pay for, Ray may close and Arredondo should close because his stuff is filthy. May not win the league here but definately won't lose it.

Top 3 team on paper, doesn't need to make many moves in the beginning, just let them play. Good draft and Sully doesn't sleep now so he will be active on the waiver wire, damn it Cian!
