Team Brown

A new edition to the UMASS league, a baseball fanatic and a real piece o work, Brownie should be an addition by subtraction (ya hear that Timmy...huh....ya hear that?)

Catcher: Soto, you have to love 25 HR's and 90 RBI's from a catcher, he should only get better and a solid .370 OBP.

First Base: Prince Fielder, eating meat again I think so he should hot some more dingers, great RBI source with a great lineup, so far so good

Second Base: Brandon Phillips. Another keeper and can give you 20/20 production. OBP is a concern, .315 isn't going to cut it in this league

Third Base: Aramis Ramirez. Rounding up a very productive infield, Josh has a man crush on him so they may be fighting to the death for his honor. Possible 100/30/110 year

Short: O Cab. He'll score some runs and swipe some bags (g_bag_shaw). I would assume there will be a waiver pickup if the A's arent scoring runs.

Outfield: Hamilton, McLouth, Dye. Great TB numbers, Very solid and McLouth will throw in 15-20 steals. If Hamilton stays consistent all year and doesnt fade like last, this should be among the best OF's

UTIL: Chipper. If this guy can ever play 150 games again he has MVP numbers, with that being said 120-130 isnt bad and will platoon with Bruce as Brown loves Bruce.

Starters: Peavy, Volquez are both aces, they should be among the top with wins the only thing keeping them from the elite. Randy looks good this springa nd his numbers last year were very good. Hair Hurrhens is the play here, any guy with that pronounciation is money. Pencil him in for 30 Wins, 300K's, 2.00 ERA, and a 1.05 Whip....and 40 Saves

Relief: Qualls and Hanrahan. Good but nothing spectacular, Wheeler may close at some point this year.

Good team by Brown, I wonder about the pitching, after Peavy and Volquez can anyone else step up? This league has always been a picthing league if you look at the top teams. This team can make the Top 5
