Team Fitz

If Fitz could start closers on offense he would. Gotta love finding out about a baby via his team name.

(middle row, 3rd in from the left)

Catcher: Vmart. nice bounce back year with a great spring

First: Carlos Pena: Decent play in a league with OBP and without AVG. If he ever gets back to the 46 homer form that will be a huge boost to TB's

Second Base: Brian Roberts, this will be the majority of Fitz' steals, good player with a .380 OBP to go with it

Third Base: Atkins has tumbled every year, all the way down to a .330 OBP from .400 2 years ago. He will ahve good numbers on Colorado but Fitz hopes this downturn wasnt a trend

Shortstop: Tejada, gettin old but serviceable, he wont be bouncing back anytime soon but you can do worse here. A product of the juice, much like Dean

Outfield: C Lee, Damon, Ibanez. Nice outfield, Lee had monster numbers until his injury last year. Damon had a good year and 25 steals from him is solid. Ibanez is always underrated, 85/23/110 line last year, that rivals many of the people taken above him.

UTIL: Morneau, he can always put up MVP numbers. if the left side can produce, Fitz has a goodf group of hitters

Starters: Here's where it gets dicey. Joba is his ace and who knows what you will get, arm a little off early but how many innings does he go? anything under 160 and Fitz is in trouble. Carmona and Bedard are both coming off injuries so who knows what you will get. If one of them pans out that will be a huge plus. Garza and Young are typically great #2's, but both have complained of dead arm this spring, if so that aint good. A ton of question marks here.

Relief: A Fitz trademark, Broxton, K Rod are the best duo in the league, Morrow will close soon, Devine on the 60-day.

This team will go as far as the pitching. High is 3rd, low is 10th. Long season and many ways to right the staff.
